Who we are
Pulse is a client-outreach and CRM platform operated by JM Integrations, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data Pulse collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Questions: pulse@jmintegrations.com.
Data we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and profile settings when you create an account.
- CRM data you add — contacts, leads, notes, campaigns, newsletters, and appointments you create or import. This data belongs to you.
- Google user data (only if you connect a Google account) — described in detail below.
- Usage and diagnostic data — feature usage, error logs, and service-health signals used to operate and improve Pulse.
Google user data
If you choose to connect a Google account, Pulse requests the minimum scopes needed to provide the features you use:
- Gmail (read) — to display your inbox inside Pulse and detect replies and meeting requests in messages you receive.
- Gmail (send) — to send emails you compose or schedule, from your own address.
- Calendar — to show your schedule and create events you book through Pulse.
- Contacts (read) — to help you add existing contacts to your CRM.
- Email address / basic profile — to identify which Google account is connected.
Pulse's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain terms: we use your Google data only to provide the features described above, we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your permission, for security purposes, or as required by law.
How we use your data
- To provide the service: displaying your inbox and calendar, sending your emails, maintaining your CRM records.
- AI features: portions of individual messages you act on (for example, detecting a meeting request in a reply, or drafting a follow-up) are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to provide that feature. This data is not used to train AI models.
- Service operations: monitoring, debugging, and abuse prevention.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Storage, security, and subprocessors
Your data is stored with vetted infrastructure providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Railway and Vercel (application hosting), SendGrid (email delivery for newsletters and system emails), and Anthropic (AI processing). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by these providers, and access within Pulse is isolated per account. Google access tokens are stored encrypted and are never shown to other users or third parties.
Retention and deletion
- You can disconnect your Google account at any time in Settings → Integrations; this deletes the stored tokens and stops all Google data access immediately. You can also revoke access from your Google Account permissions page.
- CRM data you created remains yours; you may delete records in the app at any time.
- To delete your account and all associated data, email pulse@jmintegrations.com and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (such as the GDPR or CCPA), we will honor requests consistent with those laws.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify active users by email and update the effective date above.
